Amy grew up an hour outside of New York City, in Aberdeen Township, New Jersey. It was there that she grew an admiration for the excitement of Manhattan life and an animosity for congested suburbs. She spent time traveling as a child, living in Maine; Florida; London, England; St. Simon's Island, Georgia; and Virginia. She kept a journal over the course of these nomadic years, which spurred her lifelong passion for writing. These events shaped her life, cultivating an appreciation for diversity and providing a rich background of experiences which now inspire her in all creative endeavors. Amy is currently pursuing her undergraduate BFA in Graphic Design and BA in Professional and Technical Writing at Virginia Tech. She hopes to one day return to her origins in New York City, to work at an advertising agency in the city of her childhood dreams.
